Erasmus+ Traineeship allows students and recent graduates to carry out placements in companies and institutions located in 32 countries in Europe.

The traineeship should be related to the student’s area of study. In some cases, it will be an integral part of the study programme; in others, it will be an opportunity to acquire additional competences and skills.

Application procedure

If you would like to carry out a traineeship at the Jagiellonian University, then you should contact the coordinator of the institute/unit in which you would like to intern.

In order to apply, you should send an email request to the relevant departmental coordinator, attaching your CV and motivation letter.

After you obtained an initial traineeship offer, you should arrange your training agreement. It has to be signed by all parties (trainee, sending university coordinator, coordinator from Jagiellonian University) before the start of the traineeship.

The list of the departmental coordinators with their contact information is available on our webpage: https://erasmus.uj.edu.pl/en_GB/web/erasmus-plus/incoming/internship

After your training agreement is signed, you should create an account at https://irk.uj.edu.pl/en-gb/, choose Erasmus+ Traineeship programme, complete the application, upload required documents and submit the application.

A successful application contains the following documents:

  • Language certificate (the required level of language proficiency depends on Faculty/Institute you would like to visit, so please discus this issue with the relevant departmental coordinator);
  • Training Agreement (signed by all parties: trainee, sending university coordinator, coordinator from Jagiellonian University);
  • Signed and stamped application form (you can download it from your account), signed by you and by a coordinator from your home University.
